Call for Nominations: American Pharmacists Association-APPM Distinguished Achievement Awards • June - September 1, 2014:  Nominations accepted via online submission • December 2014:  APhA Award recipients notified • March 27-30, 2015:  2015 APhA Award recipients recognized in San Diego, California These Awards recognize individuals who have made a significant or sustained contribution to pharmacy practice and have advanced the missions of APhA and APhA-APPM. Up to three recognitions will be presented each year and the individual awards will be as follows: Distinguished Achievement in Pharmacy Practice, Distinguished Achievement in Pharmacy Management, and Distinguished Achievement in Service. In any given year, one to three awards will be presented in any combination as determined by the APhA-APPM Awards Committee. *In 2015, APhA will also present the APhA-APPM William H. Briner Distinguished Achievement Award in Nuclear Pharmacy Practice. Criteria Nominees must be a pharmacist Member of APhA and a member of APhA-APPM. Remington Medalists are not eligible for these awards. All Distinguished Achievement Award nominations will be evaluation based upon the following criteria (listed alphabetically; not in rank order): • APhA related activities • Awards and recognition • Community service • Participation in other professional associations • Impact on Practice & Profession within...
