American Indian/Alaska Native Early Head Start Expansion

Offers funding to new and existing Early Head Start programs for American Indian/Alaska Native populations to promote school readiness for low-income children. Programs must provide family-centered services designed to promote the development of the youngest children, to engage parents in their roles as primary caregivers and teachers of their children, and to help parents move toward self-sufficiency.
