Breast adenoid cystic carcinoma: report of a case with emphasis on routine sonographic findings and shear wave elastography

AbstractAdenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) of the breast is a rare malignant tumor. Its sonographic characteristics have been described in some reports, but there are few such reports available that describe the sonoelastographic findings of this tumor and provide additional information about the nature of the lesion. In this case report, we describe the routine sonographic findings and shear wave elastography findings of a breast adenoid cystic carcinoma in a 53-year-old woman.
