Low Level of Blood CD4+ T-Cells Is An Independent Predictor of Inferior Progression Free Survival in Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

Conclusion Our data, though a small series, suggest that blood ACD4C may be a predictor of PFS in DLBCL, independent of age and IPI. Teaser Immune cell subsets in blood of patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma prior to therapy were characterized by flow cytometry and levels of various T-cell types and NK cells correlated with eventual outcomes. High absolute levels of CD4 cells in blood correlated with better progression free survival, and to a lesser extent overall survival, independent of age and IPI.
