ConclusionsA health education and telephone counseling program can improve knowledge about colorectal cancer, and the psychological impact in patients with positive colorectal cancer screening. The health education and telephone counseling program is an easy, simple, and convenience method of improving knowledge, attitudes, and psychological distress in patients with positive colorectal cancer screening, and this program can be expanded to other types of cancer screening.
