Dexmedetomidine use in patients undergoing electrophysiological study for supraventricular tachyarrhythmias

ConclusionsWe conclude that dexmedetomidine does not interfere with the conduct of electrophysiological studies for SVT and the successful ablation of such arrhythmias. However, dexmedetomidine use did result in a greater need for isoproterenol.
