Osteoarthritic synovial fluid rheology and correlations with protein concentration.

CONCLUSIONS: Increased protein concentration has been correlated with decreased shear rheological parameters. Temperature dependence of synovial fluid was also demonstrated and modelled for use in Part 2 of this article.
