Liposuction During Reversal Surgery: Advice From Other Women

My liposuction experience: Horrific, ugly, pain, unhappiness I had a tubal reversal five months ago. My BMI was 35 and I was told I would have to have the lipo with the reversal even before I saw the doctor. As I was meeting with the doctor for the first time, the nurse questioned the need for the lipo, as I carry most of my extra weight in my legs and bottom, not my stomach or waistline. When I questioned the doctor, he told me that in order to pull my uterus outside my body, those extra couple of inches of padding would prevent him from being able to perform the surgery as well as he could if they removed the fat. I consented to the lipo. The recovery was horrific…not to mention that I have the ugliest/strangest looking mini muffon-top ever. When they say lipo…they are only taking off about three inches about your lady-bits…so you have a hard stop where your fat begins and your fat ends. When I wear jeans now, I look like I have a mini-pendulum hanging belly like you see on morbidly obese women..even though I only have a few extra inches of belly fat. On top of the pain and unhappiness with my new look….I had an HSG ran today and the tubal reversa...
