Combined Elevation of FVIII and von Willebrand Factor Predicts Risk for Worse Outcomes in Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) (P7.152)

CONCLUSIONS:Concurrent elevation in FVIII and vWF predicts higher odds of worse outcomes for AIS patients. Our findings suggest that FVIII and vWF levels may serve as clinically useful stroke biomarkers by providing risk profiles for stroke patients on admission with a hypercoagulable state.Disclosure: Dr. Samai has nothing to disclose.
