Well-known U of L researcher loses federal funding for study

A well-known University of Louisville researcher has lost federal funding for a nearly $1 million biomedical study because of concerns involving oversight and whether the data was valid. According to the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting, Dr. Susan Harkema had been studying the effects of a muscle relaxer, called Baclofen, on patients who were undergoing treadmill therapy.
