[Skin necrosis with vitamin K antagonists: An imbalance between coagulant and anticoagulant factors].

CONCLUSION: Skin necrosis is due to a transient hypercoagulable state during the initiation of vitamin K antagonist treatment due to an imbalance between pro- and anticoagulant factors.
