This collaboration will include propagation and installation of native plants, invasive plant removal, habitat restoration, work tracking and project support. The expected outcome is to restore habitat in order to improve visitor experience and wildlife viewing opportunities in this highly visited area of the park. The GGNPC is uniquely qualified to collaborate with the GGNRA on native plant propagation and associated restoration actions. The GGNPC has been running the native plant nursery program at GGNRA since 1997. They have expertise in native plant propagation and experience with GGNRA requirements for seed collection.
