Enlisting talented students for a second campaign

This is the second time in recent months that the college students have been provided with valuable workplace experience by the agency. The students recently collaborated with the agency to produce a recruitment video to help attract the best talent to the medical communications sector, as part of their own coursework. Ashfield Healthcare Communications, one of the largest employers in Macclesfield, approached the college students with a second project after it enjoyed the ‘fresh perspective’ that the students brought to the table during the last digital communications project. Annie Ashton, Programme Leader, Visual and Performance Arts at Macclesfield College said: “We were delighted to receive the call from Ashfield Healthcare Communications inviting our students to once again get involved with one of their innovative and creative projects. This real work experience is extremely valuable to our students and allows them to gain vital workplace experience, challenging them to step outside their comfort zones, to be innovative and to develop their ideas and creativity.” The two students Kyle Shufflebotham and Shaun Baker from the college worked with the team at Ashfield Healthcare Communications across its three Macclesfield office sites, to create a number of relaxed and informal short videos.
