Efforts will focus on understanding the mechanisms that may allow Oregon chub populations to thrive in suitable off-channel habitats that have periodic connectivity to the adjacent river systems and that contain or are accessible to nonnative fishes. Work under the agreement will include monitoring the status of Oregon chub populations that reside on USACE lands or are potentially influenced by Willamette Project dams. This agreement is awarded pursuant to Appendix J, Willamette River Basin, of House Document 531, 81st Congress, 2nd Session. Work under this agreement will be performed on USACE lands and waters in the Willamette Valley, Oregon.
