Entomologists update definitions to tackle resistance to biotech crops and pesticides

(Entomological Society of America) The current jumble of terms about insects and weeds that are resistant to pesticides has fostered confusion among scientists. To address this, entomologists from the University of Arizona and Michigan State University have updated definitions for 50 key terms related to pesticide resistance in a new article in the Journal of Economic Entomology.
