Cameroon: One Million Mosquito Bed Nets to Be Distributed

[Cameroon Tribune] All is virtually set for the North West Region to receive free Long-lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINS) in the government's efforts to roll back malaria. At Regional Malaria Control Unit in Bamenda, the Coordinator, Dr Odile Tchekountouo, told Cameroon Tribune that the distribution exercise may start on August 8, 2015, with some 1,093,654 nets available for distribution. Some 12 million bed nets are expected to be distributed in the country at the end of the exercise.
