Efficacy of metastatic lesion radiotherapy in patients with metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma: A multicenter retrospective study
Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is prevalent in southern China and exhibits a significant propensity for distant metastasis [1]. The incidence of distant metastasis in NPC ranges from 10 % to 30 % [2–4], and the prognosis for patients with metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (mNPC) is generally unfavorable [5]. Considering the intricate nature of mNPC, comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment approaches are required.
