Evolution in liver trauma management: a single centre experience

CONCLUSIONS: Although the role of surgery in liver trauma management has strongly diminished over recent decades, hemodynamically unstable patients, high-grade lesions, penetrating trauma, and severe associated lesions are the main indications for surgery.
