Patient-Reported Testing Burden of Screening Contrast-Enhanced Mammography
Contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) is a relatively new contrast-based imaging technique that combines mammography with the administration of an intravenous iodinated contrast agent to enhance the visualization of breast lesions. CEM studies have shown promising results, with diagnostic accuracy comparable to that of breast MRI.
