Re-repair after translocation of an anomalous left coronary artery

Ann Thorac Surg. 2024 Apr 13:S0003-4975(24)00282-0. doi: 10.1016/j.athoracsur.2024.03.036. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTWe repaired a left anomalous aortic origin of coronary artery (AAOCA) using coronary ostium translocation/re-implantation. Re-repair was required due to suboptimal flow pattern in postoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), confirmed with coronary angiography. We emphasize the importance of early recognition, diagnosis and intervention to deal with a problem with the coronary repair.PMID:38621655 | DOI:10.1016/j.athoracsur.2024.03.036
