50 Patient Characteristics and Outcomes from a Pulmonary Nodule Surveillance Service
Current guidelines recommend CT surveillance for some patients with indeterminate pulmonary nodules. An accepted risk of surveillance is stage progression of malignant nodules. Although this risk is thought to be small, there is minimal published data that has attempted to quantify this occurrence. Here we present characteristics and outcomes from patients under nodule surveillance.
