69 New research-based resources to facilitate engagement with palliative care for patients and families living with mesothelioma

Patients with mesothelioma (and their families) have palliative care needs across the disease trajectory. However, research in the United Kingdom (UK) from the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre (MURC) found that patients and families can be reluctant to engage with palliative care due to misunderstandings and associations with end-of-life. The aim of the research was to co-produce resources to encourage early-stage engagement with palliative care.
