Quantifying lower limb muscle stiffness in typically developing children and adolescents using acoustic radiation force impulse shear wave elastography (ARFI/SWE) —a pilot study

ConclusionThe present pilot study applied acoustic radiation force impulse shear wave elastography to quantify lower limb muscle stiffness in typically developing children and adolescents aged 3 to 18 years, suggesting no marked change in muscle stiffness occurs as they develop.
