The relationship between the expression of PGE2 and COX-2 and the osteogenic activity and oxygen level of alveolar bone

CONCLUSIONS: The expression of PGE2 and COX-2 is highly negatively correlated with ALP and oxygen levels. Clinical treatment may consider increasing oxygen levels, increasing oxygen partial pressure, and regulating ALP levels by drugs, so as to change the inflammatory condition of periodontitis or other dental diseases.PMID:38583031
