Recommendation for itch assessment from the atopic itch consensus meeting (aicom)
CONCLUSION: For itch assessment, we recommend subjective evaluation by the patient using a rating scale. For infants and preschoolers, evaluation should be done by the caregiver using a checklist, combined with objective evaluation (of skin lesions, for example) by a physician. We anticipate that more objective itch assessment indices will be established in the future.PMID:38522931 | DOI:10.15036/arerugi.73.171
