Robin taught at Howard University and the University of Tennessee Knoxville before coming to Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) in Largo, Maryland. At the time of her death, Robin had been a professor of psychology for over 30 years. For many of those years, she served as department chair where she mentored countless part-time and full-time faculty. Robin was involved in making community college psychology education a national concern. She served as associate executive director and director of Precollege and Undergraduate Education in APA’s Education Directorate from 2006 to 2020.
