Frequent oil-baths and skin barrier during infancy in the PreventADALL study

CONCLUSIONS: Infants with frequent oil-baths from 2 weeks of age had reduced skin barrier function through infancy compared to controls, largely attributed to higher TEWL at 3 months of age, while the skin at 3 and 6 months appeared less dry in infants subjected to the skin intervention.PMID:38446755 | DOI:10.1093/bjd/ljae091
