Composite anode for fluoride-ion batteries using alloy formation and phase separation in charge and discharge processes

J. Mater. Chem. A, 2024, Advance Article DOI: 10.1039/D3TA07038G, PaperKei Nakayama, Hidenori Miki, Takashi Nakagawa, Kousuke Noi, Yoshihiro Sugawara, Shunsuke Kobayashi, Katsutoshi Sakurai, Hideki Iba, Akihide Kuwabara, Yuichi Ikuhara, Takeshi Abe For fluoride-ion batteries, (In + LaF3-based material) anodes are proposed, and reversible alloy formation during charge and discharge is demonstrated. Such formation helps shift the redox potentials of anodes to prevent electrolyte decomposition. To cite this article before page numbers are assigned, use the DOI form of citation above.
