Response to: Posterior Tibial Nerve Block for the Treatment of Plantar Fasciitis in the Emergency Department
We have read the case report: “Posterior Tibial Nerve Block for the Treatment of Plantar Fasciitis in the Emergency Department” by Shalaby and colleagues (1). We wish to add further commentary on this case. In particular, we would like to explore best practice to support the provision of high-value care and optimize outcomes for patients presenting to the emergency department (ED) with plantar heel pain.
