A crateriform lesion on the upper lip
A 35-year-old Brazilian woman presented to her dentist with an upper lip nodule. According to the patient, the nodule had been present for approximately 3 months. The lesion was asymptomatic, and the patient denied any other skin lesion or preceding trauma; however, she reported squeezing the lesion between two fingers, discharging a yellowish material. Her past medical history was non-contributory and she had been following up with a dermatologist for acne treatment, achieving satisfactory results.
