Vaginal vault prolapse, a specific type of pelvic floor prolapse (POP), is a common complication following a hysterectomy, occurring in 0.2 –43 % of patients [1]. Post-hysterectomy vaginal vault prolapse (PHVP) can exert a serious negative impact on quality of life [1]. Given increases in the human life span and improved standards for quality of life, the treatment of PHVP has attracted increasing attention.
