Cervical length regeneration after large loop electroexcision

Introduction: Large loop electro-excision (LLETZ) is a treatment method of the high grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. LLETZ increases preterm labor risk due to mechanical cervical defect defects and an alteration of the cervical barrier. Cervical length (CL) regeneration after LLETZ and its subsequent impact on the pregnancy outcome is unclear. Some data state that cervical regeneration is completed after six months and is 83.4% ( ±10.8%) from the initial length.
