29. Optimizing the Electronic Medical Record to Facilitate the Delivery of Early Substance Use Intervention and Treatment Services for Youth
Substance use usually begins during adolescence, making prevention and early intervention programs that target this age group the logical way to reduce costs and gain healthy, productive years of life. This project aims to enhance the awareness and delivery of evidence-based screening within a large primary care network with the development of a clinical decision support tool embedded within the electronic medical record.
