35. Preferences and Experiences of Parents/Guardians of Adolescents and Young Adults With Epilepsy and Intellectual Disability on Decision-Making Surrounding Contraception
To explore the preferences of parents/guardians of adolescents and young adults (AYA) of childbearing potential with co-occurring epilepsy and intellectual disability (ID) regarding decision making surrounding contraception/birth control. We explore and better understand the information they find important to receive from physicians, factors that affect their contraceptive decisions, and sources of anxiety surrounding these medications.
