A New Benzenoid of Elaeagnus grandifolia

A new benzenoid, 2,3-(methylenedioxy)-6-methylbenzene-1,4,5-triol (1) and seven known compounds (2 –8) were isolated from the stems ofElaeagnus grandifolia Hayata. The structure of the new benzenoid was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.
