Neolignans from Selaginella trichoclada

A new neolignan, ( –)-(7R,8S,7 ′R,8 ′S,8 ′′S)-4 ′-hydroxy-3′,3′′,5′′-trimethoxy-4′′-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-7,9,7 ′,9′-diepoxy-3,4,8′′,9′′-bisoxy-8,8′-sesquineolignan (1), and five known neolignan derivatives were isolated from an ethanolic extract ofSelaginella trichoclada Alston. The chemical structure of these compounds was identified by extensive spectroscopic analyses (UV-vis, 1D/2D NMR, CD, and MS). Furthermore, the molecular docking results indicate that compound1 may act as an anti-inflammatory inhibitor.
