A New Antrobutenone of Synsepalum dulcificum

A new antrobutenone, syndulone (1), and six known compounds were isolated from the stems ofSynsepalum dulcificum (Schumach.& Thonn.) Daniell (Sapotaceae). The structure of the new antrobutenone was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.
