Podium Presentation Title: Diffuse Host Bone Marrow Edema in Six-Month MRI as a Predictor for Osteochondral Allograft Failure

Many authors have reported good to excellent clinical outcomes after Osteochondral Allograft (OCA) transplantation. Previous long-term follow-up studies demonstrated high survival rates and time to failure usually higher than 2 years after the procedure. Despite this significant amount of time, early findings to predict future OCA failure remains elusive. Diffuse host bone marrow edema (BME) is expected postoperatively during the first 3 months. With progressive bone incorporation, signal intensity eventually normalizes.
