Commentary to “Heresy - Is there a role for ultrasound in management of the non-palpable testicle?”

This study entitled “Heresy - Is There a Role for Ultrasound in Management of the Non-Palpable Testicle?” by Press et al. undertakes a retrospective examination of the utilization of pre-operative ultrasound in the context of non-palpable cryptorchidism, a topic of considerable interest and one that engenders cont roversy concerning the recommendations set forth in the American Urological Association (AUA) cryptorchidism guidelines [1,2].
