28. The Value of Temporal Artery Biopsy: A 3-year Retrospective Audit

Temporal artery biopsy (TAB) remains the gold standard for diagnosis of giant cell arteritis (GCA). Current guidelines recommend that TAB should be performed with 14 days of initiating steroid therapy, with a minimum sample-length of 10mm.
