Surgical Management of OHVIRA and Outcomes

Study objective: Obstructed hemivagina and ipsilateral renal anomaly (OHVIRA) includes uterine didelphys, unilateral obstructed hemivagina, and ipsilateral renal anomaly. Surgical management of this condition relies on accurate diagnosis to excise the obstructed longitudinal vaginal septum (OLVS). Vital considerations involve identifying the side affected, ipsilateral renal anomaly (IRA), thickness of the septum (TS), septal axis (SA) and distance of the septum to perineum (DSP). The study aimed to evaluate preoperative characteristics, imaging findings and surgical outcomes of OHVIRA.
