India finds quality issues with cough syrup linked to Cameroon deaths
Tests of a cough syrup linked to deaths in Cameroon have revealed quality issues in at least one of five samples taken by Indian authorities, according to unnamed sources. Naturcold syrup, manufactured by Riemann Labs, is one of three Indian-made cough syrups implicated in the deaths of at least 141 children in Cameroon, Gambia, and Uzbekistan.
