Impact of follow-up by peer support workers on mental health service users' global functioning and self-stigmatisation

CONCLUSIONS: Despite difficulties concerning follow-up of service users during the course of the study and the reluctance to integrate a new profession based on experiential knowledge, it appears that the hope of recovery can improve global functioning of people with mental disorders. The reasons for low self-stigmatization and its stability over time remain to be explored.PMID:37985258 | DOI:10.1016/j.encep.2023.08.011
