Gulf Research Program Awards $22 Million to Launch New ‘Mississippi River Delta Transition Initiative’ Consortium

The Gulf Research Program has awarded $22 million to fund a new research consortium of 14 institutions focused on transforming understanding of the lowermost Mississippi River Delta’s future sustainability and advancing research and practical ways to combat land and ecological losses.
