American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Clinical Practice Guideline Summary of Surgical Management of Osteoarthritis of the Knee

Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTThe Surgical Management of Osteoarthritis of the Knee Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guideline is based on a systematic review of published studies for surgical management of osteoarthritis of the knee in skeletally mature patients. This guideline contains 16 recommendations and seven options to assist orthopaedic surgeons and all qualified physicians with the surgical management of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee based on the best current available evidence. It is also intended to serve as an information resource for professional healthcare practitioners and developers of practice guidelines and recommendations.
