Head-to-Head Comparison of Nine Assays for the Detection of Anti- < em > Echinococcus < /em > Antibodies: A Retrospective Evaluation
CONCLUSIONS: Echinococcus serological assays are highly variable in terms of sensitivity and specificity. Knowledge of the pre-test probability in the patient cohort is required to choose a suitable assay.
