Deeptek.ai gets FDA nod for chest x-ray algorithm
Maharashtra, India-based AI developer DeepTek.ai has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance for its chest x-ray algorithm CXR Analyzer.CXR Analyzer is a deep learning algorithm designed to automatically detect and categorize a broad range of suspicious lung, pleural, and cardiac pathologies on x-rays and can aid clinicians in making precise interpretations, according to the company. In addition, the software is compatible with various x-ray machines, including hospital-based, mobile, portable, handheld, and ultraportable units.More than half a million people have been screened using CXR Analyzer for tuberculosis screening in India and the Asia-Pacific region, the company added.
