Lipoma of the gastrointestinal tract: a tertiary care centre experience

CONCLUSIONS: While GI lipomas are generally considered to be indolent and benign tumours, they can potentially lead to severe complications. The utilisation of computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging has brought about a significant transformation in diagnosing this condition, enabling preoperative identification in most cases.
