The National Cancer Research Institute Clinical and Translational Radiotherapy Research Working Group Workshop: Translating Novel Discoveries to and from the Clinic

The National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Clinical and Translational Radiotherapy Research Working Group (CTRad) has recognised improving translational research in radiation oncology as a strategic priority area and has established a new working group, Working Group 1, to address the gaps in this field. Here we report on a recent workshop, led by the CTRad Working Group 1, focusing on translating novel discoveries to and from the clinic. It aimed to engage the UK-wide radiotherapy research community to discuss the current challenges and opportunities in this space.
