Exogenous apelin-13 administration ameliorates cyclophosphamide-induced oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis in rat lungs
CONCLUSION: Exogenous Apelin-13 treatment protected lung tissue against injury by inhibiting cyclophosphamide-induced oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis. This protective effect of apelin-13 was accompanied by upregulation of the Sirt1 and downregulation of NF-kB/p53 in the lungs.PMID:37622713 | DOI:10.2174/0929866530666230824142516
